PUSSER'S
PAINKILLER
The popular drink in the Virgin Islands is Pusser’s
Painkiller. "Pusser" was the British sailor’s
way of saying "purser", the man who dispensed
the rum. Today Pusser’s Rum is the same formula
that was standard issue aboard Royal Navy ships, a
mix of five rums from the islands blended and bottled
on the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands.
Pusser’s famous secret Painkiller recipe is:
Without ice, blend, shake or stir..
1 ounce of cream of coconut
1 ounce of orange juice
4 ounces of pineapple juice
and 2 ounces of Pusser's Rum.
Pour over ice and grate fresh
